The copyright officer provides advice to the university on legal and technical matter related to the use of intellectual property. This is achieved by monitoring copyright legislation, as well as developing and managing administrative procedures that ensure effective legal compliance by both students and university staff. The copyright officer is also the appropriate contact with whom to raise concerns over alleged or potential copyright infringement.
