Universities Australia supports robust national quality assurance and accreditation requirements for all higher education providers, and is supportive of the aims of Recommendations 19 and 23 of the Review of Higher Education, which discuss this issue of standards. It is clear that standards and their clear articulation are becoming increasingly central to the future of quality assurance within the tertiary education sector.
