Universities Australia welcomes the opportunity to provide a response to the Australian Qualifications Framework Council on this matter.
Universities Australia supported the Ministerial Council for Tertiary Education and Training's decision to include the Masters Degree (Extended) within the Australian Qualifications Framework, and also the four basic principles through which qualifications of this type, leading to professional outcomes, may be offered under the alternative 'Doctor of' title.
