Description of files available on this site.

1. ceq01.csv shows CEQ figures by institution, level of qualification and DETYA field of study. Institutional and national means, standard deviations and response numbers are shown for each scale.

2. option01.csv shows CEQ figures by institution, level of qualification and institution-generated faculty/degree/course code variable (where an institution included it). The mean and standard deviation are shown for each scale, and response numbers are also shown. There are no relevant national figures as the option codes are unique to each institution.

3. area01.csv shows  CEQ figures by institution, level of qualification and 40 aggregated fields of study. Institutional and national means, standard deviations and response numbers are shown for each scale.

4. pcmaj01<scale>.csv: There are 6 scale files showing the percentage disagree-agree on the 5 point Likert scale by DETYA field of study. Column headings used are SD% (% strongly disagree), D% (% disagree), U% (% undecided), A% (% agree), and SA% (% strongly agree).

5. pcopt01<scale>.csv: There are 6 scale files showing the percentage disagree-agree on the 5 point Likert scale by the institution-generated faculty/degree/course code variable. 7. CEQapp01.csv shows CEQ figures for pass and honours degree graduates by institution and DETYA field of study. The institutional and national means are shown for each scale, and the N size is also shown. These are the figures which used to appear in the institutional appendices of the annual CEQ report.

Additional files with previous years' CEQ data are also available on this site. They are in slightly different format (in terms of layout of data and variables) and users should consult the relevant information files for those years.

For further details and explanations of these data, the reader is directed to the various Course Experience Questionnaire reports published by the GCCA.
