The Chaney Council Report, Australia - Educating Globally, is a well-considered strategy for the development of a vibrant Australian international education sector.

The report, announced at Universities Australia's 2013 Higher Education Conference by Tertiary Education Minister Chris Bowen, offers a set of 35 practical recommendations, within seven themes, to support the sustainable of a quality international education system in Australia.

Universities Australia is working closely with a coalition of educational peak bodies to advocate for the implementation of the recommendations from the review in an effective and timely manner. Universities Australia is particularly keen to see the implementation of the recommendations related to Coordination, Quality and the Student Experience and the establishment of a Ministerial Coordinating Council.
